Applications are invited for  04 (four) posts of Tradesman Trainees to be filled  under the provisions of Section 8 (3) of Apprentices Act 1961.

The trades for engagement of Tradesman Trainees are indicated below :

Qualification : ITI i.e. National Trade  Certificate  (NTC)  with  60%  marks  awarded  by National Council of Vocational Training (NCVT) in the relevant trade.

Age limit for above trainees is 28 years.

Applications will be accepted  ONLY ON-LINE.

Note : (i) Candidates of other Trades need not apply.  (ii) Selected candidate(s) has to enter an apprenticeship training contract with TIFR and submit the same to RDAT (Regional Directorate of Apprenticeship Training) for registration.  (iii) Only fresh candidates will be considered for engagement.

General Information : The period of training will be one year for trades at Sr. Nos. 1, 2 & 3  and two years for trade at                 Sr.No. 4. Prescribed age should not exceed as on January 1, 2015 for the above positions.

Incomplete applications and applications received after the last date shall not be considered. Training for the above trades will commence with effect from April 1, 2015.

i.	On-Line applications  must be submitted by  March 12, 2015.
ii.	NOTE : The candidates are required to produce following original documents with copies at the time of test/interview :
	a.	Printout of online application form.
	b.	Identity Proof (Adhar Card / Election Card / PAN Card / Passport / Driving License).
	c.	Date of birth/Proof of age.
	d.	Educational Qualification (all mark sheets and certificates).
ii.	The Institute reserves the right to restrict the number of candidates for interview to a reasonable limit. Mere fulfilling the essential and desirable qualifications will not entitle an applicant to be called for test / interview. More vacancies may also be filled through this advertisement.  The Institute reserves the right not to fill any/some posts herein advertised.  Canvassing in any form shall disqualify the candidate.
